Griffin Mill is a powerful studio executive who one day starts receiving death threat postcards. The mysterious correspondent seems to be a disgruntled writer whom Mill had promised to call but never did. Mill finds him into a cinema and tries to bring him to his senses, but instead, they get into a fight, which eventually ends up with the screenwriter murdered. Griffin then starts a romance with the dead man’s fiancé.
