An old lady recalls the most beautiful memory of her life: a school outing from Bologna to Florence through the Apennines, right before her school exams. The thirty high-school students are accompanied by the Literature teacher and the Art teacher, who has a fling with one of her students. Yet, the Literature teacher, who is secretly in love with her, will protect her from the scandal.
